What is Third Stage or "Dry House" housing?

Often referred to as “dry house” accommodation, third stage housing is designed to give you the time and space to prioritise your recovery while rebuilding your independence. It’s a safe home environment shared with others in early recovery, fostering a sense of community and mutual support. During this time, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Explore new hobbies and interests
  • Build healthy friendships and support networks
  • Continue focusing on your personal growth and recovery

Why consider Third Stage housing?

Third stage housing offers a safe and supportive environment where you can focus on recovery and personal goals. It provides a chance to regain independence while reconnecting with life outside of addiction. With access to counselling, shared experiences and activities, this holistic approach helps you to build your confidence and independence with support.

  • Safe and supportive environment
  • Build independence
  • Continued support
