Q. Are males and females treated at Broadway Lodge?
Yes, Broadway Lodge is able to offer treatment to a mixed gender.
Q. Do you treat anyone under the age of 18?
No, we are a treatment centre for adults age 18 and over.
Q. What’s the cost of treatment?
This depends on whether a detox is required as the first stage. Please call us on 01934 812319 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
Q. Do you have payment plan options?
We require payment for the first two weeks of treatment at the point of admission and then payments for the remainder are collected every fortnight thereafter.
Q. Where can I get a treatment application form?
Please contact Admissions directly on 01934 815515 or email email@example.com
Q. Do you have to be religious to go to a 12 Step rehab?
No – the 12 Steps is a spiritual philosophy that can be applied by anybody (religious or not) and has helped thousands of people to live clean, sober and happy lives. At Broadway Lodge, we interpret ‘God’ to mean ‘Good Orderly Direction’, and clients can choose to apply anything that’s important to them as their good orderly direction, whether it’s a faith, music or nature for example.
For more details about the 12 Steps, take a look at our blogs: The 12 Steps Simplified and The 12 Steps for Atheists: it’s not necessarily the God you think.
Our programme is abstinence-based and uses the 12 Steps philosophy as a part of treatment but clients will also receive one to one counselling, daily group therapy, holistic therapies and other treatments that together, will improve mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and provide the tools that can enable clients to achieve a successful, long-term recovery.
Q. Do I have to pay for anything extra during my treatment at Broadway Lodge?
No – all treatments available at Broadway Lodge, as well as all main meals and drinks are included in the cost of treatment.
Q. What should I bring with me for my stay at Broadway Lodge?
Q. Will I have my own bedroom?
No – Clients share single-sex bedrooms with up to three other people. Addiction is an isolating illness so sharing a bedroom with others is an integral part of the treatment process. We understand the reservations that can be felt about the prospect of sharing a room we often find that these feelings soon disappear as highly supportive relationships with the peer group are built. However, we are able to provide a single room for an additional charge if preferable.
If you would like to discuss this with one of our team please contact Admissions directly on 01934 815515 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Q. Am I allowed my phone?
No – clients are not allowed to use any media related devices (such as mobile phones, iPads etc.) as this is a distraction from the programme and is also a safeguarding measure. Any media devices will be stored securely throughout treatment. Clients have a dedicated telephone to receive incoming calls and there is also a payphone to make outgoing calls.
You can also contact family and friends using our Skype facility. Former clients have said this is particularly useful for maintaining contact with children in addition to usual family visiting.
Q. What facilities are there at Broadway Lodge?
Q. What help is there once I’ve completed rehabilitation?
Broadway Lodge holds complimentary aftercare sessions every Tuesday for anybody who has received treatment at Broadway Lodge, regardless of the time spent in the community since treatment completion. Attendees must be clean/sober for at least 14 days.
Third Stage Housing
For some clients an extended period of support following residential treatment can help them to adjust and re-integrate into community living. We have many local contacts who provide third stage housing in North Somerset and Bristol and our friendly Support Workers can help you to arrange this accommodation whilst in treatment to ensure a smooth transition.
