Health Care Assistant

Location: Weston-super-Mare

Job Type/Hours: Permanent/ 24 hours per week (2 night shifts)

Rate of pay: £10.55 per hour

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced and skilled Health Care Assistant to join our busy (medical) team. The successful candidate will ensure the promotion of high standards of care and understand the importance of creating a kind, compassionate and caring community for our clients delivered through the highest quality of person-centred care. This can be a challenging environment to work in but is hugely rewarding.

Project Worker

Location: Weston-Super-Mare & Bristol

Hours: up to 37.5 per week

Salary: £19,000 – £22,000 pro rata

Funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and The National Lottery Community Fund, a position has arisen for a Project Worker as part of the West of England Works Building Better Opportunities Programme.  This is a 2-year post, full or part time, up to 37.5 hours per week and is mostly based in Weston-Super-Mare and Bristol.

We require candidates who are passionate, professional and conscientious. The successful applicant must have experience of working with people with addiction issues, a good awareness of the issues they face, plus a good knowledge of services available in Weston-super-Mare and Bristol.  Excellent IT skills and attention to detail are also essential requirements.

Our cohort of selfless volunteers provide amazing support to both Broadway Lodge’s staff and the patients. As a volunteer, no matter what the role, you will be helping Broadway Lodge to provide the life-changing treatment for addiction for patients who are at the beginning of their recovery journey which is such an emotional and important time in their lives.

We are looking to expand our small group of volunteers and would like to hear from anybody who is interested in sparing any time to volunteer for us, whether it’s a few days a week or a few hours a month.
