Life can be an emotional and challenging journey to navigate alone, and sometimes we need help to guide us through. Seeking support from a professional is nothing to feel ashamed of or defeated about. In fact, it is something to feel very positive and hopeful about because it’s an investment in your wellbeing, to get to a healthier place mentally and emotionally. It does not matter how big or small you think your problem may seem.
Online one to one counselling through Broadway Lodge offers a dedicated, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions with a non-judgmental qualified counsellor who will guide each session.
Talking therapy is an effective method to process your feelings in a healthy way so you can begin to heal and move forward. It enables you to gain clarity about the way you think, feel and behave and the counsellor will help you to address any unhelpful patterns of thinking or behaviours and help you to implement positive changes.
As addiction specialists, online counselling with us is available to anyone who is encountering challenges related to addiction or co-dependency and is offered to individuals and couples. It may be suitable if you can identify with any of the below:
As well as experts in addiction, our qualified counsellors are also highly experienced in helping clients to overcome the array of issues that may also be present and impacting negatively on your life such as anxiety, depression, low self-worth, shame, anger, low mood and lack of confidence.
Broadway Lodge is an organisational member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling Society (NCS).
The counselling sessions are facilitated online using the video-calling platform Zoom, so providing you have internet access and a device to be able to engage in a video call, you can get our support from any location. We will email you the Zoom link in advance of your session so that you can easily connect with us at your booked time.
Each counselling session lasts 50 minutes and costs £60 for individuals or £75 for a couple. While we are confident that you will start to feel better after one session, at least 4 or 5 sessions may be required to feel positive, lasting progress. Your counsellor will provide you with a recommendation for the frequency and ideal number of sessions based on your individual circumstances but we often suggest weekly counselling to start with. We do ask for sessions to be paid for in advance and that a block of 4 sessions are booked initially.
We can also offer one-off counselling sessions that are 1 hour 30 minutes in duration, as you may be wanting to resolve a particular challenge in a short amount of time without further exploration. This costs £100 and following the first session, you may choose to book in for more counselling to continue to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours further.
Currently, online counselling slots are available on Thursdays at the following times: 9am, 10.15am, 11.30am, 1.30pm, 2.45pm and 4pm.
