We are pleased to announce that Philip Gay is a new Patron of Broadway Lodge, joining fellow Patrons Chris Difford and Alex Lovell.
Philip Gay is an inspirational former client who stayed at Broadway Lodge in 1988 for alcohol addiction and has remained in sobriety ever since. He has given unwavering support for Broadway Lodge for many years and was a Trustee for 10 years, from 2014 – 2024. We are delighted to have Philip as a Patron.
Following treatment in the late 1980’s, Philip’s entrepreneurship and business acumen led him to become the CEO of a successful major property company as well as fulfilling his boyhood ambition of becoming a skilled farmer. He now enjoys a busy retirement and values family time with his three sons and their families.
Philip said: “I feel honoured and proud to be a Patron of this fantastic charity. Broadway Lodge is life-changing for everyone who goes there. I never cease to be amazed at the amount of love and friendship that comes out of Broadway Lodge and the strong bonds that can be built as a result. Those who attend receive all the tools needed to move on and achieve sobriety. If you adopt and embrace those tools, your life will change completely.”
