We are delighted and very grateful that national, award-winning insurance advisory company, Partners&, has selected Broadway Lodge as their South West charity of the year for the 2024/25 financial year.
As part of their fundraising activities, Partners& held a golf day at Bowood Golf Course in Wiltshire last week, all in aid of Broadway Lodge which raised an amazing £1,825. We cannot thank Partners& and all of the attendees enough! We hear that everyone enjoyed a day on the course in the sunshine and an evening social afterwards.
In a recent press release, Phil Barton, Partners& CEO said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Broadway Lodge. Our connection goes back many years and, in that time, the team have supported so many individuals and families overcome and manage incredible challenges. Our colleagues are keen to get involved and really help to make a difference. We fundamentally believe that to create a sustainable and resilient business today, we need to make conscious decisions that will have a direct impact on our clients, our people, our ecosystem, and the communities in which we operate. By engaging our team in identifying causes they care about, and voting for the ones they would like to support, we will be engaging in our community, nurturing team building, and making a difference. This is great for overall health and wellbeing, building relationships and supporting those in need.”
Our CEO, John Aizlewood, said: “It is wonderful news to be chosen as the Partners& South West charity of the year, we are really looking forward to the support we know we will be receiving over the next twelve months and are honoured to have been selected by their team. We are a small charity providing 24/7 medical and counselling services to clients staying with us and to have support from Partners& will make a difference to those receiving life-saving treatment with us to begin their recovery from addiction. Partners& can be assured that any support will help us to continue to deliver life changing, compassionate care to people who live within the communities they operate and beyond, giving them a chance at life again, in recovery, with improved mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, the tools to sustain their recovery for the long-term and hope and positivity for the future. Thank you Partners&.”
