Recently our local Asda store in Weston-super-Mare voted for Broadway Lodge to receive a donation from their Green Token Giving programme. Asda have paused giving out green tokens to shoppers during the coronavirus pandemic and instead, the charities are voted for by staff. Because Broadway Lodge were voted, the Asda Foundation kindly donated £300 to us last month.
The Green Token Giving programme is run by the Asda Foundation which is a charitable and corporate Foundation whose mission is ‘to transform communities and improve lives within the UK.’
We are very thankful for the donation which has been gratefully received at the end of a tough year for everyone, so we want to say a huge thank you to the Asda Foundation and the staff at the Weston-super-Mare store.
