On Tuesday and Wednesday this week Lee, David, Markkus and Charlotte travelled to Birmingham to exhibit at the annual Health and Wellbeing at Work conference at the NEC. This was the first time we’ve exhibited at a large, professional event for some time and we were excited to meet with attendees and to debut our new brochure.
Regardless of attendee numbers being less than the 4,000 forecast (due to Coronavirus), the days were busy and we talked to many HR, Occupational Health, medical and wellbeing professionals from a wide range of industry sectors. It was great to see so many employers keen to support their employees who may be suffering with a mental health illness and/or addiction. Every person we spoke to were genuinely interested in what Broadway Lodge provides and meeting with passionate, friendly people was so positive.
The past two days have been tiring but it was so worth it and we hope to catch up with the people we have connected with soon.
