Helping people in recovery access training and employment

As from January 2017 Broadway Lodge became a Partner Organisation for West of England Works, which is part of the Building Better Opportunities Project. The project is funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund. West of England Works is led by Weston College and is a collaboration of locally-based voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations working across the West of England.

West of England Works aims to support young people and adults who face multiple and complex barriers to securing sustainable employment and training across the West of England area, recognising that often no one organisation can suit all the needs and often complex requirements of one person.

This exciting new partnership means that Broadway Lodge can offer personal tailored individual support to people on their journey from social exclusion to social inclusion through participation in education, training and employment. This project  strengthens the work we do in our Third Stage Treatment Houses and our Aftercare Service. We can also take referrals from other sources. The only referral criteria are that participants must be in recovery from drug, alcohol and addiction issues and cannot be doing any kind of paid work when signing up.

If you would like more information about this service then please visit the West of England Works website here, or get in touch with us.
