We know that when someone has an addiction, it can be a horrendous time for the individual and their relatives who may be stressed, worried and fearful. It is very important for relatives and loved ones to look after their own wellbeing and know how to recover from the traumas of the individual’s illness.
If you feel like you need some support because a friend or relative has an addiction, join our free family programme from 11am-4.30pm, held on selected Sunday’s (places must be booked in advance).
The session will be delivered by one of our counsellor’s in a small group at Broadway Lodge and aims to be both educational and supportive. The counsellor will talk about addiction and cover topics such as resentments, people pleasing, anger and co-dependency and you will leave with more knowledge about how you can look after your own wellbeing. Lunch is included.
