If you’re in recovery, practicing the 12 steps and feel like any of the above questions relate to you, our 3 day 12 Step Recovery Renewal Retreat in Somerset might be just the therapeutic weekend you need.

Join experienced therapist Adrian Rooke (below) and our specialist team from Friday 31st May – Sunday 2nd June 2019 on a weekend of reflection, meditation, chanting, acupuncture and mindfulness in nature. The weekend will involve a comprehensive mixture of life enhancing workshops, lectures, shares and group experiences to nurture your wellbeing and invigorate your mind, body and spirit.



This two night retreat will be at Kilve Court Outdoor Centre, located on the coast of beautiful Somerset and nestled in the Quantock Hills which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The venue has cabins with single beds sleeping up to 4 in each. There is a main centre which will be used for workshops/lectures/catering as well as ample, peaceful outside space. Washing and toilet facilities are shared in a separate block.


Our 12 Step Recovery Renewal Retreat will be an unforgettable weekend, therapy filled from arrival to departure. Each place on the Retreat costs £150 each and this will include accommodation, all main meals and classes. You can either pay the full ticket price amount of £150 at the time of booking or alternatively, you are able to pay £75 at the time of booking and the remaining £75 must be paid in a second instalment by midnight on Tuesday 30th April 2019. It is your responsibility to ensure that the second instalment is settled, which can be made via bank transfer, over the telephone or paid in cash at Broadway Lodge. You will be sent bank details in a booking confirmation email once a booking has been made. Online bookings via the website will incur a booking fee.

Contact with the outside world will be minimised as much as possible to allow attendees to heal over the weekend and achieve full therapeutic benefit from the activities. Therefore we will request that mobile devices are not used during the daily programme (unless for an emergency).

Recovery Renewal Retreat 2019 Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all 12 Step Recovery Renewal Retreat 2019 bookings. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a booking and by making a purchase, you are confirming that you have read and accepted the below terms and conditions.

If You Decide to Cancel

In the event of a cancellation of a booking at any time, a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of a ticket will apply. All cancellations must be confirmed to us by calling 01934 812319 or in writing, either emailed to or sent in the post to: Markkus Trew, Broadway Lodge, 37 Totterdown Lane, Weston super-Mare, BS24 9NN. You will then receive a written acknowledgement. If you decide to leave the 12 Step Recovery Renewal Retreat 2019 early then the full charge applies and no refund will be paid to you.

If Broadway Lodge Cancel

In the unlikely event Broadway Lodge have to cancel the 12 Step Recovery Renewal Retreat 2019, you will be refunded 100% of monies you have paid. You will be notified as soon as possible should Broadway Lodge have to cancel the event.


– All attendees must be clean/sober for at least 14 days prior to the event
– All attendees must have knowledge of and/or practicing the 12 Steps.
– You do not have to have been a Broadway Lodge client to attend the Recovery Renewal Retreat.
– All attendees must be age 18 or over.
