What We Offer

Residential treatment provided for both genders usually over the age of 18.  Following a comprehensive assessment clients may, where appropriate and funding permits, be admitted for treatment.

Primary Care will accept people that are still using, as abstinence is not a requirement for admission.  For those indiviuals needing a medical assessment or detoxification this is available to them from the medical department that provides 24 hour nursing cover.  The medical team provide a comprehensive and caring reponse to physical needs and offer an extensive range of alternative therapies to support clients through their treatment journey.

Secondary Care patients will need to have either completed Primary Care treatment or have a period of abstinence prior to admission and in both cases will also need to have a good working knowledge of the first three steps of the AA/NA fellowship programme.

For the majority of patients the Primary Care programme lasts for 8 weeks and Secondary Care for 12/15 weeks.  However, some flexibility regarding length of stay exists to allow for particular circumstances and need.

Whilst many individuals are referred through their Local or Health Authority and employer, self-referrals can be made to the service but an assessment of suitablilty will still need to be conducted.
